Winter Show Time Line:
Drop off – Entries must be delivered on Monday, December 8th, 2008 3-6 pm to the Loveland Art Studios on Main, 529 Main Avenue, Loveland, Ohio 45140 or by appointment (call Mary 722-9780).
Pick up – Unsold Artwork must be picked up on Monday, December 22nd, 11-4 pm or by appointment.

Loveland, OH—The Loveland Arts Council would like to invite you to “Paint the Town”. Paint or create in any art medium as long as you like between the dates of June 20 and June 29, at as many locations as you like. Come and have FUN! Enjoy our beautiful town and the friendly audiences you will attract.
This year “Paint the Town,” will be from June 20th-June 29th Loveland offers many amazing views for artists: Little Miami Scenic River & Bike Trail, Granny’s Garden, Historic Downtown District, Log Cabin, Loveland Castle, Grailville Retreat Center and Organic Farm, etc.
Go to the Buzzthru Espresso Bar (807 Loveland-Madiera Rd.,Loveland OH) to register any time during the event. You will get an artists packet which will include instructions, event name tag and a map of the area including private places where artists participating in this event will have special permission to work. There is a $20 registration fee ($10 for LAC members – can be paid at time of registration or join now online: www.all4art.info) All artists registering will get a free cup of gourmet coffee from the BuzzThru Espresso Bar.
After the painting period, there will be a WET PAINT SALE on Sunday, June 29th in historic Loveland on the lawn in front of the Runner’s Depot (127 W. Loveland Ave.). Artists can sell their work without commission fees. Last year, lots of work was sold! Bring your week’s work and an easel to SHOW OFF what you have done! The Easel Sale will have local publicity to bring a good crowd, plus the buzzing regular Sunday downtown Historic Loveland crowds and hiking / bike trail users…PLUS all the people you have talked to all week while painting.

]]>Award of $500 will be given to one graduating senior for college study in the visual arts from the Loveland Arts Council. This scholarship may be renewed (up to 4 years), by submitting a satisfactory college GPA, reporting on activities and accomplishments for the previous year and showing us examples of your artwork and outlining goals for the upcoming year. Renewal reminders will be sent to each scholarship winner in the spring of each year of elligibility.
Selection will be made on the strength of information requested below, portfolio examples and the essay. This
scholarship is open to any senior within the geographical Loveland City School District, regardless of school attended. Private school and home-schooled students are invited to apply.
The application form, the handwritten essay, letters of recommendation and other written materials may be sent to The Loveland Art Studios, 529 Main Avenue, Loveland, OH, OR you may deliver your forms in person to the above address OR if you are a Loveland High School student you may deliver your application materials to the Loveland HS guidance office - DEADLINE for all: 3pm April 18, 2008. Please include with the forms at least 10 (slides, pictures or digital) images of your visual art work. If you prefer, the arts council will also accept portfolio originals. (If you are a student at Loveland High School and will have work displayed in the April 27 Senior Show please indicate that and we can see your portfolio there if you choose.
